Yvonne Werkmann has been helping people get out of pain since 2003. Her understanding of anatomy and yoga can help you experience this natural form of pain relief now.

Therapeutic yoga is a personalized approach to reduce pain, improve strength and flexibility and develop a sense of calm. Focusing on your goals we will create a custom program of movements, relaxation and breathing techniques. You will receive guidelines to continue your progress at home. Let us help you progress from where you are, to where you dream of being. If you have pain, let us help you relieve it. If you have restricted movement, let us help you free it up. When you are pain free, you will move forward, getting your body working well, so you can do what you love to do.

Customized Therapeutic Yoga

Are you looking for a class that targets your needs specifically? In this class you will receive your own program, based on your needs and desires. Decrease pain and tension, get your body moving well and head toward your dreams. A maximum of 8 students means a lot of direct support.

Tuesdays 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Thursdays 5:30 – 7:00 pm

Therapeutic Yoga Group

Do you want to create relaxation and release for your mind and body? This class opens the body to build strength and resiliency gently. You will leave refreshed and feeling strong. Maximum 15 students.

Join me for a fun afternoon of exploring core strength.  What is it, really?  How do we best access this inner power?  Can we really stop doing sit-ups and crunches? We’ll have a look at our anatomy and play with various poses that get into those inner workings.  Be prepared to have a good sweat, and a good laugh.

Therapeutic Yoga for Shoulders and Hips​

How are your shoulders and hips feeling?  If you are looking to increase your overall mobility and strength, getting those shoulders and hips feeling better is a sure way to start. If you took Shoulder’s and Hips last year and want to take things a bit further, if you have taken classes or private sessions from me and want to learn a bit more, this will be a great afternoon.  If you have never worked with me before, you can prepare for this workshop by taking a private class with me.

Getting Your Feet on the Ground: Therapeutic Yoga as a Path to Strength

When the challenges of life take over, we often find ourselves living in our heads, following the monkey mind of thought and worry and spiraling up higher and higher.  Connecting with our legs helps get us out of our minds and back into our bodies, building the strength and fortitude necessary to take another step forward.
